This is my first time posting picks so feel free to slam them or give whatever insight you would like to share.
1)Mich.St.+6 -This has become a bandwagon pick,but I feel like the wrong team is favored. I like it even more
now that Phil has Minnesota in Power Sweep.
2)TCU-10.5 Being from Birmingham, I am subjected to the horror of UAB football. After 2 decent games, I see UAB
having a letdown. I expect TCU to play well as they continue their futile quest for BCS recognition.
3)Virginia+7.5-More was expected from Virginia this year, but this will be their game of the year. It's too
easy to say FSU will be flat after last week's loss, just as it would be to say FSU will play well because
they are mad about last week. The truth is , we don't know because we are betting on a bunch of 18-22 year
old kids.
4)Texas AM +10.5- Reggie McNeal, like Brad Smith, should give Nebraska problems with his versatility. As much
as I detest Franchione for leaving Alabama, I have the utmost respect for how he gets a team prepared. Texas
AM should get better as the year progresses.
5)Wyoming+1-Wyoming is not the 2-10 pushover of a year ago. BYU is in disarray and this has upset written
all over it.
